Tim Nelson Family Benefit

April 30, 2017 @ 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm
First Lutheran Church in Sauk Centre

Tim and his wife Sandy have been long time residents of Sauk Centre. Tim, along with their two daughters, Sarah and Stephanie, have Fabry disease, a rare genetic disease that affects the body’s ability to break down a certain lipid. Over time, the build up of these lipids cause blood vessels to become narrowed and other tissues and organs become damaged throughout the body, thus affecting the flow of blood. There is no cure for this disease yet and it requires and infusion every 2 weeks to help replace the enzymes their bodies are lacking that help to clear out the lipid buildup. As a result of this disease, Tim suffered several TIA’S and strokes in early February. He underwent a surgery, and it was successful. He will be out of work for several weeks and needs to be very careful as his body recovers. Please come out to support this family. The benefit will be held on Sunday, April 30th at First Lutheran Church in Sauk Centre. Pulled pork meal served from 4pm-7pm. Free will offering. Silent Auction as well. Tables start closing at 6pm.
