A Walk Together – Uniting Against Sex Trafficking
From 8:30 am to 3:00 pmA Walk Together – Uniting Against Sex Trafficking is a fundraising/awareness walk that will happen this Saturday (September 25th). This 3rd Annual event will help raise money for and bring awareness to the work of the Central Minnesota Sexual Assault Center. The Central Minnesota Sexual Assault Center (CMSAC) provides services to survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation and other forms of sexual violence, including child sex abuse. 100% of proceeds from this event will benefit CMSAC. The registration fee for walkers is $35 and sign in begins at 8:30am at Shear Dynamics Salon. At 9am walkers will begin the 3 mile course that will take them around River’s Edge Park and back to Shear Dynamics, where there will be educational tables, speakers and live music by Donny Brang.
