Sometimes, the people who need encouragement the most are the very ones who spend their days giving it away.
Jesus often noticed what others missed. He saw the loneliness behind a smile, the fear behind a question, the hurt behind a strong exterior. He paid attention to the people everyone else brushed past.
Living out our faith in everyday life isn't always about grand gestures. More often, it's done through a phone call, a text message, a prayer, or a sincere question followed by the willingness to listen.
Maybe God is nudging you to reach out to someone who seems to be doing just fine. Maybe a friend comes to mind who is always the helper, giver, and encourager. What if they need a reminder that they don't have to carry everything alone?
And if you're the strong friend reading this today, let me encourage you, too. You don't have to be okay all the time. Jesus never asked His followers to pretend they had no needs. In fact, some of the strongest moments of faith happen when we're honest enough to admit we need help, prayer, and community.
The church was never meant to be a collection of people impressing each other with their strength. It's meant to be a family walking together in grace, supporting one another, and pointing each other toward Christ.
So today, let's follow Jesus in a practical way. You never know how much a simple act of love could mean to someone.
"Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." – 1 John 3:18
