Join in for a series of thought-provoking movie screenings focused on raising awareness and fostering understanding about dementia. There will be a panel discussion after each movie. This event is organized by the Greater St. Cloud Dementia Friends Community, bringing communities together to support and learn. Refreshments will be provided. The second of the two movies will be shown on Thursday, May 9th, at the Sauk Rapids Rice Middle School CAC – Door 1 (901 1st St S, Sauk Rapids). The documentary “Memories for Life: Reversing Alzheimer’s” asks the question, what can we do when our memories are fading? This film narrated by Grammy-winner Michael Bublé and follows along with the first Alzheimer’s patients, who are reversing their cognitive decline by following a novel therapeutic protocol. Developed by renowned American neurologist, Dr. Dale Bredesen, this precision medicine approach uses expanded lab data to generate personalized protocols that are allowing patients to regain their memories.
