2023-09-17 13:00 2023-09-17 15:00 Europe/London Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction Benefit for the Messer Family

A spaghetti dinner and silent auction benefit will be held for the Messer family of Sauk Rapids. The event will take place Sunday, September 17th, from 1-3 p.m. at the Waters Church. Adam and Alicia Messer are parents of 3 children. Adam is a 12-year army veteran who serves other veterans and families in the area. Alicia serves veterans and other families with kids who have disabilities. The Messer’s youngest child, Addison, has a very rare condition, and she has spent more than 2 years navigating surgeries, infections, and recovery. The last major surgery she endured saved her life, but it also took her ability to walk. She now has a wheelchair and with that comes the need for a wheelchair-accessible van for their family of 5. At the silent auction, there will be many baskets, gift cards, crafts, and packages from local businesses to bid on. There will also be a special kids auction. The event’s cost is $10/plate with a $25 max per family. Former MN Viking Tommy Kramer will be at the event to take photos and autographs.
